exhaust problems

My check engine light came on and i started to notice a hissing sound when i was on the freeway. I think it may be an exhaust leak coming from my WSP y-pipe but i dont know where exactly. I am going to go tonight and see if all the nut and bolts are tightened but if it is not that what could it be? the flex section leaking?....please help

an exhaust wont typically trip a cel unless its interfering with an o2 sensor. check to make sure the o2 in the y pipe is secure. to check where the leak is, put it up on ramps and have someone rev it while you are under it. you should be able to feel the air coming out if the leak is a decent size.

even with a lined flex section, its going to be louder than a stock y because they are so much more coated than any aftermarket y pipes.
