'02+ Maxima ECU Cracked!!!

They've seen pretty much any type of mod on numerous cars on their own dyno, so they know what kind of program it requires. It's called EXPERIENCE. Although, you state TS has done cams, yada, yada for a 2K2+ Max in the what 2-weeks it's been available, I doubt it. Most likely they are talking about all the work they've done for a 350z NOT a Maxima. Although, they are similar, I wouldn't be the guinea pig to find out.
IF you are considering cams or FI, I would wait until someone with SIMILAR mods had TS dyno-tune them an ECU and then buy that upgrade. Otherwise, the gains you'd see NA, other then maybe cams, isn't going to be worth the drive over to Cali to have them tweak out a few hp.

Like Cheston said...unless you DRASTICALLY modify the air flow in/out of the engine, which to me means FI or cams, the NA program will be close enough. I agree. If you want to lean out the A/F ratio for MAXIMUM hp for YOUR particular car, you'd probably find a few with dyno tuning with a wide-band 02 and SEVERAL hours minimum of TS's time. Is it worth it? Probably not, when you can pick up a S-AFC for $190 in the FS forum and tune yourself on a dyno for $50 per 1/2hr..
Cattman Y-pipe and TS ECU would be my choice over the Stillen headers RIGHT NOW.
Dynos will come eventually, so do what you got to do.

Like I said in a previous post, I will buy the minute the 03 auto ECU is ready. I just got an email from TS saying it was still in development.
I think people can safely trust TS and purchase this without an independent dyno. Let's keep in mind that they have already successfully provided this product for the 350z which I assume must have been harder than our cars to squeeze out some additional HP.

If you have problems 'trusting' Technosquare, then i personally assure you that you have nothing to worry about.
i have worked with Technosquare since early 2000 when they did the 95/96 Maxima ECUs (previously named Gforce Engineering)
i FULLY endorse Technosquare... if thats worth anything..
if any of you are unsatisfied, Technos will work with you to solve your issues, and worst comes to worst, they offer a money back refund if they can't help you....
i encourage So CAL maxima owners to drive to torrance to see in person how professional they are.

... and one bill each month. It's actually not hard... just don't spend money you don't have
That or just make a butt load of cash!
Either way....VERY very impressive. I'm working my way out of debt slowly, but surely. Someday I'll be in those nice fat comfy shoes.

but I used to be a teacher and my wife was a social worker (the two lowest paying jobs ever) and we still only had rent and utilities (and food, normal living stuff, etc).Anyway, I really hope someone dynos their ECU in the next 3 weeks...or I may be the first

So this leads to another question... anyone know where I can dyno in the southern new hampshire area? This will be completely new to me. If someone knows I'll get the "post-" dyno done. If someone has a hook-up and can get me a discount of some sort, I'll do pre- and post-install dynos.
let me know.
See if you can find one local using this:

Just make sure you get the DynoJet Run Files on disk(take one with you!), if you do. Thanks.

Give me a name of someone in the shop so I can name-drop if you (or anyone) knows someone there.
OR, can someone give me a price range for this?? I have no idea how much this will cost, and if it's not that much I'll just do it and suck it up.
edit: actually, does anyone know someone in southern NH or northern MA...I'd rather drive a little and have some kind of reference than go somewhere I don't know anyone.

I just looked them up. I live in Atlanta.
Try posting a thread in the NE forum. Also try looking up people in NH here on the org.
Prices are usually $50-100 for 3 pulls. $30-50 more for an A/F reading. To get an A/F reading you will need to have a bung welded into the front exhaust manifold or pipe before the pre-cat.
Tuning runs $75-100 per hr.
Here are the ones in MA.

thanks, I'll call the place in pelham (I actually used to teach High School there and know a lot of people)... I'll see if i can get some kind of deal if I take it in before and after.
I have an injen on... I'm going to dyno with that on WITHOUT the TS ECU, then with the injen WITH TS ECU. I'm not taking the injen off for either dyno.
I've "taken" enough from this board... I guess it's time to actually contribute more than just money.

Can anyone provide some info on the proper way to remove and package the ECU for shipping. Just want to make sure I don't screw something when it's time to do this. Thanks
Are you {E55AMG2} the auto donor?

That's not funny.
Actually, yes it is, unless of course you're telling the truth.
Everyone relax, he found the Info that I sent. The sheets of paper slid out of the box when he opened it. He found them on the floor when I called him. All we have to do now is wait my fellow automagic owners.
