I think they are kinda heavy...and they are autotragic only (i'm almost certian on that one)

plus, at 8 years old, i'm sure it didn't have 230bhp anymore

good win though...alot of those guys think they've got something under hood...they know not what they are doing.

The SC runs 12 psi and has 210hp and 315tq. Most did have auto but there were some 5spd.. 0-60 6.8 1/4 15.4. <---- figures from 6/93 C&D.
Here a page with some info.

They are heavy though as mentioned. I used to have an 85; fun car but a big boat.

I had a 93 and bottom line, it was still slow! Only thing I miss is the RWD it had.

I had two Thunderbird SuperCoupes. One was a 5-spd and the other an Auto. The 5-speed was very quick and had a hell of a top end. They should get owned though. They are heavy as hell.

The 89-93 models had 210 bhp and 315 lb / ft. The 94-95 models had 230 bhp and 330 lb / ft. The 94-95 had a different interior that was a lot better overall. They came as autos or 5-spds in all years.

Easy to mod to get more power. Different intake / exhaust / pulley on the supercharger and they can be pretty quick.

Yes, they are fast cars for the size. I think they weigh 3600+ pounds.
The later models with the increased hp ran 0-60 in 6.5 seconds and 1/4 in around 15 seconds.
With 02/03 Max 6 speeds running 5.9 0-60 times and 1/4 in low to mid 14's it's not that surprising.
Especially since his car probably had a boat load of miles, and was well worn (abused). He'd probably be lucky to run a 15.2 at the track.

yeah they had sick torque from the factory. My buddy had a '93 that we completely tore apart. Stroked Motor, Super Charger Upgrade, intercooler, rear end, tc, etc. etc.

Never performed like it should.

rain was tolerable, but when you find yourself doing a 720 in the snow and only going 10 mph, then we should be grateful we have potenzas!
