HID Installation

I'm thinking of buying some HID headlights for my 01 SE. I'm looking at eBay.

Is it a direct fit?

Anyone has written instruction?

I'm talking about the entire headlight assembly from 2k2 or 2k3 into a 2k1 maxima SE

then i have no comment on if it is a direct fit or not

I am sure someone will give you written instructions if you show proof you bought it legit from a dealer or someone

...most of the 2k2/2k3 housings+bulb&ballast on ebay is stolen so when you receive it, you will find out what I mean.

Especially if you buy from the NY/NJ area--you will get a housing with broken tabs or a cracked housing and when you go to return it--the seller won't email you back

but if you do decide to buy this on ebay--good luck and you just supported HID theft (if in fact it is stolen)

I'm not supporting theft in any way. I'm thinking of getting HID lights for my car. Buying HID kit and buying entire headlight assembly is about the same price.

Tell me if this looks stolen

he has pretty good feedback but look at this item http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2428746983

he sold a headlight in august with the same pic... I honestly don't know what it means
I know you intentionally don't mean to buy stolen goods

that's only 1 headlight, did he list another auction for the other side? You may want to email the winner of the link I just posted to see how the condition was of the lights and go from there... buying from ebay is risky business but sometimes you find a steal! no pun intended

good luck.

also, to answer your question about the direct fit--this is what you need to make it a direct fit (harness, housing, ballast & hid capsule/bulb) - Someone correct me if i am wrong
