chevron techron
Yesterday i went to the auto place and saw the chevron with techron fuel injector cleaner. They had a smaller bottle that treated up to 12 gallons and a larger bottle that treated up to 20 gallons for trucks and suv's. I bought the larger one. Will this be too much and if it is, should i just dump in some of the bottle?

OMFG, that thing is an addictive and a concentrate! You should never put that much in a tank.
I always use Chevron 91 octane (no 92/93 here, damn it) and I put the smaller 12 oz bottle every 5k miles.

At 18.5 gallons the larger bottle for 20 gallons will be fine.

Carbon deposits act like a sponge, when you start the car up they will soak up some of the gas that should be used. This we lean out the car for a momnet and cause knocking and pining. That's part of the reason some older cars run real ruff.
With newer cars cars it's more subtle. Anyway the more build up you have the worse the car will run.

I'd rather have carbon deposits than running my car with a large amount of fuel injector fluid in my tank.

Oh I get it now. You've gotta save that extra ounce of the addictive Techron fuel injector cleaner for huffing
