My sunroof has started squealing / squeaking when it's opened or closed. Sounds like maybe it's the rubber weatherstrip rubbing, but can't tell. Has anyone else encountered this? I've tried rubbing it down with the grease that's already there, but no luck. Thoughts?

i need assistance with this one myself....my sun roof squeaks ONLY when closed, when its tilted open, NO SQUEAKS......

is there a type of grease, solution, or something i can use to get rid of this, replacing the weather stripping around the actual glass, IS NOT an option for me

I also am having the same issue, Mine squeaks when opening/closing just a little bit but that little bit is annoying...So bump... =O)

Just try the old lubrication trick if not i have heard that the weather stripping might be the issue..

use some white lithium grease on the rails in inner lip of the sunroof opening. That did it for me.

mine had a bit of squealing too but that went away...now when it's tilt or opened it's always rattling when i hit a bump and stuff...kinda annoying =/
