$30-35K gets me a 350Z with all the beauties or an S2000- TRUE SPORTS CARS (CLASSICS) in every sense of the word

The real research that needs to be done are the follow up tests in a year or two that come out on all the blown gaskest/hoses on these

It's a shame you have no clue about anything you've posted here. The Mitsu engine is exceptionally reliable, as is the Subaru engine (compared to other similar high specific output motors from ANY manufacturer out there). They've been making them for YEARS (and winning races across the globe, I might add). And just because the magazines say the STi is slower must make it so Remember, Pontiac and GM said the 3.5L 5 speed Altima runs a massive 16.7 1/4 mile...

Get a grip, look up some facts, and do not post ignorance such as this again.

I guess initial point was that while 350Z is a fast car, it is not fast like a supraTT or 300ZXTT or LS1Vette. And in some instances a nicely modded MAX can keep up with a Z. All of this comparisons based solely on straight line acceleration, not handling not looks nor interior quality.

I actually raced one from a red light we were even by 50 when I had to cut off. He was auto, at first I thought He didnt race....?
mods:y/b/midpipes.

If speed is what all this is about- then the STi/Evo
are in trouble because POS front wheel drive Neon's
are eating their **** a@ a local track near you (w/very little aftermarket support) Check the SRT forums
Again, ignorance is bliss...

There are "only" 3 stages of performance upgrades available for the SRT4, plus anything you can add on from the aftermarket that is compatible (which is a ton of stuff, I might add)...

No, this thread is about pointing out the facts of the matter at hand. The 350Z is superior to the Maxima in all speed/acceleration characteristics and definitely has the aerodynamic and handling edge over ANY stock Maxima. It's the driver that matters, and that's what I believe the heart of this stupid argument is about...

Correct...you are entitled to your opinion. I have an issue with you stating your opinion as fact. That's the ignorance I'm referring to...

You might be right abou the 350 my source had it in a little heavy, but my 03 Max weight came directly from its brochure.

Personally, I'd rather have a G35 coupe over the Max and the Z...

But that's just me...

My 01 max IS the quickest thing known to man! I smoke vipers, vettes, and 3 second funny cars like nothing.

However, everyone in this whoile thread needs to step back and take like 10 deep breaths. We're comparing oranges to kiwis to potatoes. None of this matters. The Max and the Z are close enough it can be a drivers race. The Z is not as fast as the STI or the mitsu, but a lot classier. If thats what you want then go for it, if not then don't. People have different priorities.

I have a friend who has a 99 subararu impreza 2.5rs with RED rim s. He has I/H/E and he loves it. I wouldn;t be caught dead driving it. He still might not be able to keep up wioth me in the straights, but he kills me in the turns. Its all about personal preference. So eve3ryone stop getting your panties in a bunch and calm DOWN.

There, rant over.
