Starter Problems on 2k2 6spd

A couple of weeks ago my car would not start, the starter would not crank at all, I called Don since I thought it was related to my alarm which it wasn't, later on that day the car started and it hadn't given me any problem until today, it wouldnt start at all I turned the key about 50-100 times while at school and it finally cranked and started. After i got home and shut it off, it just wouldn't start anymore, so I push started it with some friends and drove it to the dealer and left it there. They will look at it tomorrow.

Anyone here ever have starter issues on 2k2 or 2k3?

Assuming it is the starter, it could be something else and I could be wrong. Chime in!

My car only has 20300 miles.

Should be covered under warranty correct?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Yes, this will be covered under warranty at no cost to you

Don't let the dealer tell you, "It's your alarm" Don knows his schit about alarms

I haven't had any starter problems at all and I currently have 46K miles

That's a funny SHIFT_ I wish I could shift them to another planet. When I dropped off my car today, the guy acted like he was doing me a favor, he must've forgotten who pays his paycheck indirectly...the customers.
I guess they tend to do that a lot.

My Service guy just called me and asked if he could charge the 89.95 for hooking the car up, you guys know the procedure, if the warranty covers it, they will pay the 89.95 etc.

What should I be ready for in case he says the warranty is not fixing it?

I don't exactly feel like paying 89.95 for nothing.

They just want to recoup the cost somewhere. This is ALL covered under warranty. If the try and bend you over, call NNA and complain to them.

Ok, I paid the 89.95 just to get the car out of there without having to use foul language. I brought the car home at around 4-5 and it worked fine. They id the problem was wth the ignition kill wire or something which I doubt since I know Don does good work

Part 2 of the Problem.

At 12 o'clock the car wouldn't start again, I push started it again with my friend and parked it at my garage, it won't start.

What the heck should I do, I already paid them thinking this would be solved and now I am gonna drop off the car tomorrow and they barely work on saturdays so I am going to be left with no car for the rest of the weekend.
Help!

Thanks in advance for all replies.

I was also having starting troubles. Car cranks but I have to hold the hey in that position for a couple of seconds then it starts. What the heck is going on with it? I have only 7100 miles on my car and use 93 octane. Any insight?

Try using your second coded key that came with the car

call the dealership and tell them their $89.95 did not fix the problem and you want them to tow your vehicle on a flatbed truck back to the dealership and have this problem fixed. Don does do great work and I seriously doubt it's the alarm.

Well I went back, they fixed it again, and it's fine. They showed me what the problem was. They were amazed that the same problem happened again.

Here is the problem:
In order for my remote start to work I bought a close bolt to hold the clutch pin in so the car would start with the remote start.Turns out that the bolt was a bit too big and everytime I have been pressing the clutch, it had been forcing the bracket and it forced it back and after a certain point of being pushed back it wouldn't start. So no more remote start for me, unless there is another way to hold that damn clutch pin.
I had removed the bolt both times before going to the dealer so they wouldnt know the remote start was active.
