Drilling in Trunk
Anything to be aware of when drilling through the trunk floor? Yeah, I know about the gas tank, but that is up near the shock tower, right?
I'm just going to be drilling some holes to mount some bolts in the trunk to hold down some, uhh, "stuff".
The holes will be back towards the taillights in the floor on the sides in the flat areas...
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

You would need a pretty long drill bit to hit the exhaust and the fuel tank is under the back seat. I'd say watch out for wiring and break lines. Last time I was under there mounting my hitch, I didn't see much to hit, flip your head under there and look if nothing, then drill away. It might be a good idea to put touch up paint on the exposed metal to prevent rust or paint peel. Chris
