Ps2 In The Car

I have just mounted ps2 under the passanger seat and powered it under the center console with a power inverter and a new 12v plug all hidden, but i was hoping to be able to put it in the gloves box... anyone do this? i tried taking it apart to try to make the casing smaller cause i dont want to cut into my gloves box, nor if i try to make a new one the outside wont match. ive also tried dissasembling the gloves box and just making a new interior but that wont work either its all attached. any ideas? advice? i dont know where else to mount it. i would like better access to the drive than having to move the seat all the time. ive been told under the gloves box, but then there is no foot room. HELP!!!!!!!

How about under the passenger seat, with the cd tray facing the back of the car for easy access?

thats how it is now, but so no one kicks it i have it as far up as it goes, so i have to move the seat to see what im doing, but i want it somewhere in the front with easy access. i heard of people taking it apart and just running long wires. id love to be able to do that, but i dont know where to find extension wires for the inside of the unit

You'd probably have better luck posting this in the appropriate forum (like the electronics one), not the 5th gen forum...

since you can stand a ps2 on its side you should do that and mount it under the glove box against the sidewall closest to the center of the car... or the other side. and anybody who kicks it there is a dumbfuk.
thank you, end of thread.

Mine is mounted under the glove box (at the passengers feet). I'll try to take pics tomorrow. I really think this is the best way you can install the PS2. You kinda have to see it to know what I mean. It's being held up by two releasable straps, making it easy to take back in the house.
