Seat warmer

I just wanted to know if anyone esles seat warmer takes a while for you too feel? I go in my friends Denalli, caddy, Acura, and Audi and there is almost too hot for me on the highest setting. When I get into my Max I can't ever really feel it until I'm almost at work and thats 24 miles away. Anyone else have this problem?

Mine used to get pretty hot, pretty fast. I would say maybe..... a minute or two. Now, it don't work at all. Something broke.

Mine is pretty slow to warm up (compared to other manufacturers), but doesn't take 24 miles....

Need new switch

Remove the switch for the seat warmer (pop it out with a flat screw driver) and test the wiring to see if the switch is getting power (use a circuit tester). If you are getting power to the switch, then your switch is shot. I just changed my switch and it cost me $25. This probably what's wrong with your car.

Ya...a lot of times when both seat warmers are on the passenger will mention feeling the heat...when it takes me a few more minutes to feel anything

Im stuck with the same problem. Takes about 5-10 minutes to feel any heat. I guess its just another case of cost-saving. If you ask me, the seat warmers are pretty useless without a remote starter to get the seats nice and warm BEFORE you have to sit your @$$ down on them.
