If anybody is looking for good service in Northern VA...I've got a contact for you. I noticed a post last week about service at Rothenthal Nissan in Tysons Corner...Rothenthal (sp?) has always been a pain to deal with...I used to live in the DC area.

Go to Browns Nissan in Fairfax and ask for Jimmy in the service department...he's been working on Nissans for over 20 years. Tell him that his friend Michael in Seattle referred you for the primo service...you might want to explain how you got the info (like explain the Maxima.org board to him) so he doesn't think I'm just dropping his name and place of work off on street corners. He might not cut you prices, but you can trust him...also maybe you guys in NoVA can get some deals if enough of you go to him.

Anyone know any GOOD dealers in MD? I would go to VA, but it's kind of far.....My dealer is Herb Gordon in Montgomery Auto Sales Park. They seem to be OK, but nothing great...

NYC?

Does anyone know of any good dealers in the NYC area? I've dealt with the one in Lawrence, LI and it was not a pleasant experience. For example:

1. ordered a part back in October and still have not received it and have not received a phone call.

2. Service department hours of operations are 7:30am-5:00pm...well needless to say at 8:05am the service manager comes running from accross the street after getting off a bus with a donut and coffee in hand and said "I overslept this morning". This almost started a fight because people were late for work.

3. Received call from the service department at 11:30am informing me that my car was ready and could be picked up anytime before 5pm. Got there at 4:00pm and did not leave until 5:45pm. They could not find my paperwork and had misplaced the keys. I could keep going but I think you get the point. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
