Hey guys

I've been looking for the best "looking-a-like" aftermarket replicas bulbs that come close to the appearance of XENON (tm) HID headlights. Many say PIAA plasma blue bulbs...but I heard that there is a better one out there. (Unfortunately, I don't know the company's name) If you guys have any comments about this subject then please reply. I see many of you Maxima owners use the PIAA Super plasma bulbs and I just want to know what you think about them. If anyone else has another type of bulbs, please let me know what you think about those also. Thanks.

The Plasmas will decrease your visibility, but the purple light does look nice. If you want more info, use the search on this forum because we've had many discussions on this.

How do you use the search? Or should I search on that?

i have hiper bulbs... i got them on ebay... the seller was calvinwch@yahoo.com
i am sooooooooooo happy with the way they look... they are definatly brighter whiter and more intense than stock bulbs... they look totally like xenon... a lot of people think they are and tell me that they didnt know Maximas came with xenons... they are like $20 a pack or something for 2 on ebay... way worth the money especially compared to the $60+ piaas... the only thing stay away from the H3 bulbs for the foglights.. they burn out too quick.. get the 85watt ones dont worry they wont burn out ur harness i have them on already for 6 months and everything is good.. about 6 or 7 of my friends have them too and not one persons burned or melted or anything... they are amazing!!
If u want tell him that Danny from brooklyn sent u and tell him that he said he can discount them for u... he will give u a discount cause i bought so many from him for a lot of people...

Shing has tested them all... He has concluded that the Phillips Bluevisions are the best for sight. If you are in it for the blue look (Decreases visiblity from stock) get the PIAA's, but I buy lights so they can serve there purpose, ILLUMINATE THE ROAD! So suprisingly the cheapest bulbs in the Phillips (15 bucks each) are the best. The Sylania Cool Blues are almost as good, but they seem to have a shorter life than Phillips Bluevisions. So if you are interested in looks, spend 60 bucks on the PIAA's. If you are interested in visibility, get the BV's.
