Hi-Beam 9005 wattage?

What is the stock hi-beam 9005 wattage?? I have read to stay with the same wattage if you change the bulbs on the fog lights due to the higher heat high wattage bulbs produce. Is it ok to run a higher wattage on the 9005 hi-beam?
I wouild like to get some HID like colors to match the low beams.

thx,
R

PIAA Extrene Whites do a nice job of getting rid of that yellow look of the OEM high beams. They also match the HID pretty well.
