My 2k max has 37k on it and just the other day I noticed the most annoying rattle ever. It seems to be coming from behind the driver side heat vent. The funny thing is it only rattles when the car is heated. The heat doesn't have to be on but if it was on recently and the dash is warm it rattles over evey little bump I go over. It's not a little rattle either, it's very loud. It sounds like something is loose in there. It also sounds like it mght be metal on metal. Can anyone help me with this one?

I have a similar squeak/rattle in the same place. I can also hear it from the outside when I shut my drivers door. I'm now getting a squeak from my sunroof when its open when the body flexes over bumps

This is terrible. I just made an appointment with Nissan to have it looked at. 85 bucks an hours!!!

Have any of you guys tried tightening the dash bolts on that side? If you pull the fuse cover and pop out the switch blanks you can see 3 or 4 bolts. Looks like a 10 mm socket would do it. Might find more behind the kick panel.
Get some miles on a car, some of the fasteners loosten.
