How many spokes do you have on your 17 inch Nissan OEM wheels?

I have the 15 inch stock rims on my 99GLE...I want to get the 5th generation 17 inch wheels...I'm trying to see what different types people have...I've seen the 17 inch 6-spoke ones, but I'm wondering if the 5-spoke ones come in 17 inches...

Aftermarket is your only option.

Aftermarket is an option, but I should be able to fit the 5th generation wheels on my car...i just need a lower profile tire...the 4th and 5th generation wheels have the same size lugs and lug pattern...

Finding the wheels at a resonable price is another story...I called my dealer and he said I could buy 17 inch wheels for $577 each...I'll be more than happy to find them used...

17" OEM wheels = 6 spokes
16" OEM wheels = 5 spokes
15" OEM wheels = 9 spokes

actually....

the 9-spoke wheels that come standard on the gle and come with the c&c package on the gxe are 16", not 15".

Keep in mind a harsher ride with the 17's. although they look really nice.

Actually I put the 17 stocks on my car and it actually rode better than my 16. They make the car feel alot more solid. With the 16 my car felt flimsy , now it's the way I like it. I think its the 50 profile tire that keeps it from getting harsh.

Do you have any pictures with the 17 stock wheels?

Where did you get them? How much?

Did you have to do anything to your car after putting the tires on (ie, speedometer or odometer recalibration)?

Thanks!

I don't have any pics right now but I'll take a couple for you. I didn't do anything else. Everything seems fine. I bought them from another org. member for $600 and I actually want another pair for one of my friends.
