My mpg has been crapping out lately. I used to be able to hit 100 miles but I'm down to about 75-80 at three-quarters of a tank. Just wanted to see how this compares to everyone else.

If I drive sensibly, I usually get 110-115 on the first 1/4 tank. If I drive crazy, I get about 80-90 miles.

I'm ~100 miles at first quarter. That's 75% highway, about 75 mph.

never more than 75 miles on the first notch....ok, one time it was 80, but that was the highest, 80/20 city/highway

About 100-105 when driving from/to work (75% highway). About 90 if it is just city driving (weekends).

75-80 city/hiway 60/40...and I have a Thule rack on the roof that knocks it down a little. I find that I get a pretty consistent 22 mpg for 60/40 city/hway driving and about 24-25 for highway only on road trips.

Filled up 4 days ago, just hit 100 miles on first quarter of the tank. 100% city...not really city...more like "small town"...no more than 10 miles to get any where.

I find that I can add an additional 1.5 gallons to the tank once the fuel dispenser clicks off for the fist time indicating that the pipe going down from the fuel door can hold fuel beyond what the 18.5 capacity may indicate.

I live in Seattle and average 39 mph according to the trip computer. My ful economy has been consitent at 24.3. I average 108-115 miles at the 3/4 hash mark. I have on several road trips surpassed 150 miles at the 3/4 and have logged 490 miles with 2.5 gallons to spare.

Around 105, but the cutoff at the gas pump is not always consistent, so I know that if I get 80 one day it's not like my gas mileage has suddenly dropped by 20%.

About almost 108 miles? So is it 108.3?

I'm actually getting 28.1 mpg. I drive mostly highway and have a weapon R intake.
I was getting 29.1 before the weapon R but because it sounds nicer I'm finding I floor it more often.
My DTE when filling up is anywhere between 425-485 depending on how fast I fillup the tank (more foam if pumped faster causing pump to click quicker)

Are you going by the trip computer to figure your fuel mileage? I don't use that to calculate my MPG. It reads higher than my actual numbers.

I reset mine every time I fill up and I've found it to be very close to actual numbers. However, if I don't reset, yes it does read higher. On my 1500+mi roundtrip to SC over the summer I got 31.1 on the way down and 30.2 on the way home.

i drive a manual and rarely shift over 3k rpm, and NEVER shift over 4k...just how i've been driving since i bought the car, in an attempt to up my gas mileage....still can't break that magical 21 number though (always take miles traveled divided by gallons put in) -- i've just resigned to filling up my tank every 6 days or so

just filled 2 days ago. i have 93 miles and it's way past the quarter. i just don't get it. it's not like i floor it all the time. maybe twice in the last 2 days. since i have bought the car, twice it gave more than 420. usually in all city, i am happy if i get 280 out of the whole tank

On my way to Cali from Chicago I got 135 miles till 1st 3/4 Crusing at the constant speed of 80MPH- speed limit is 75. I got 493 miles on a tank of gas and it wasn't even empty yet. Light didn't come on at all. I noticed that my Max gets good mileage with the further drives, my SE-R was like that too, 36MPG all the way with 500WHP under the hood while crusing around 90MPH through TX. Around town I get 20MPG in the Max, I am mostly battleing with idiots on I355 highway on my way to work every day, with speeds of excess 120MPH sometimes- its like the autobahn when U hit the right kinda cars

What did you have in that SE-R, a V8?

I think my gas mileage is consistent with the 03's and I can get about 85-100 miles city driving before I hit the 3/4 mark. On the highway on a 80 mile trip if I drive NORMAL which is 65-70, my gas tank will still be on full but hitting the F and not over the F like it initially was.

I usually get about 90-110 miles as well but after the 1st quarter it seems that the hand goes down quick on the 02/03's.
