I don't mean to burst anyones bubble, but this PVC intake contraption won't add a single bit of top end power

Make a small hole on top of the pvc if you are making the intake to the bottom of the car. Have you ever drank from a straw that had a hole in it? Quite hard to suck any liquid into it. I would be surprized if it were different with the intake.

I would like to suggest a few things. If you have injen CAI keep it but you really need these two things
1) Pre-filter click here to check it out
http://www.outerwearsracing.com/prod...2E1DDC434AFE35

2)Intake bypass on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-0-B...QQcmdZViewItem
they have different colors too.

3)And if youre cheap like me and youre interested in an Injen prototype that has the same performance with the growl as INJEN(believe me youre paying the $300 on Injen CAI just for the brand name). Check out OBX its $60 including shipping. Click on this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

there was a little misprint on the seller's page but its alright.

So the total of my CAI Mod will be $100. dont you think thats nice

Your set-up sounds like it'll actually lose hp with all those intermediate pieces along the way. Its an intake, the simpler the better, which is why the GAB, PAB, and WAI seem to work well for most here.

Note: The pre filter only allows air in (no water unless your car is completely immersed in water). The intake bypass does not affect Hp its only a second form of protection from water. Now I'm only claiming of gains from 3000 rpm and up. I actually lost a couple btw 1000 and 2500 rpm.
