How come when I pass...

...people on the high going like 75/80 mph, sometimes they floor it like I'm racing them. All I was doing was just passing them out. Like yesterday for instance, I pass a new Audi (not sure which one, but bigger then 1.8) which was going like 65 mph. When I pass him at 75 mph, he takes off after me and gets on my ***. So I decided to teach him a lesson. So I downshifted and took off and so did he and all I saw was his car getting smaller in my rearview mirror. At 120 mph, he was way way behind. Then I slowed down and took my exit, he took same exit. Then we both went our separate ways.

All I want to know is why morons always think I'm racing them, when all I'm doing is passing them.

No it ain't. Once I was driving a stock Honda Civic 4-door and I passed a hooked up Mustang Cobra on the highway. I was going like 70 mph and he was going 60 mph and after I passed him, he downshifts and takes off like a bat out of hell.

my favorite is when the guy looks at you and tries to talk smack. i'm thinking, there's 2 layers of windows between us, not to mention the wind noise, and he expects me to hear what he's yelling?

I usually just drive about 70~80MPH on highway crusing, most get outta the way or speed up. Rarely will I see one kissing up to my bumper, if I encounter one, then I let him pass me as i go over to the right lane, then i drive behind him matching his speed(Thus, he/her becomes the rabbit)

Some people just always seem to think you are trying to race them when all you wanna do is pass, happens to me sometimes too.
