CAn't agree with you there. There are plenty of Infiniti and Acura cars that outclass MB and BMW. You speak in the old terms, try the game nowadays. Q45, M45, FX, etc. They are not entry level luxury.

Maybe meet but not outclass. No Acura has real wood. Infiniti has no pretige and outside the G35s, their cars are pretty much failures.
HID is class things to me ( you will never see HID in cheap cars).well maybe in the mini

There were. But HIDs are on 25k Maximas, Altimas, TSXs, Focuses, now. Not to mention you could be and install them on your Yugo

2004 Accord V6 EX - FWD, MSRP about $27,000, 240hp
2004 Camry V6 XLE - FWD, MSRP about $26,000, 210 hp
2004 Maxima 3.5 SE - FWD, MSRP about $27,500, 265HP

So yes the Maxima is SLIGHTLY more HP than the accord (and we know the Max doesn' ACTUALLY have 265, right?) and the Camry is a bit weak....
Don't make the classic mistake and fall for the peak horsepower hype. Honda is the undisputed master of tricking people into thinking their cars are faster than they really are because of that. Having owned one, I can tell you first hand all about it.

Also, the 2004 Camry V6 SE comes with a 3.3L engine with 225hp and 240tq, the LE/XLE V6s stick with the 3.0L. I think torque gives a much better idea of how a car will perform to most people since only very few send their engines screaming up to redline where the peak horsepower is on a daily basis. So now we have the following alternative way of looking at things.

2004 Accord V6: 212 lb-ft
2004 Camry V6: 240 lb-ft
2004 Maxima: 255 lb-ft

Perhaps the Camry is not as underpowered as originally thought. It won't have the peak horsepower to run with the Accord or Max on the highway, but around town and away from a light it'll probably show at least the Accord its tail lights until about 60-70 or so.

That appears to be a bit of an oxymoron lately. JD Power initial quality scores on the new Accord are the lowest they have been in decades. There are tons of complaints and issues over on the Accord forums.
