illuminas are out

went to my local shop called One6 and asked if they new Illuminas are available. he looked it up in the book and called to get pricing, the total for all four runs about $490. they do not have them in stock yet, but they are ready to be ordered. Thought some of you might want to know. I'd buy them but i'm a bit short on MOD cash....(got into a fender bender)

thx..was the $490 just for the struts? did he mention anything about their springs for the 5th gens? will the 4th gen springs work? im hoping they will have a spring/strut combo like custommaxima has for the 4th gens. if these are really availible i think i will have to get them instead of headers. but like i said..i called tokico earlier and they had no clue so we will see.

yeah the $490 was just for the struts, i asked about H&R and he gave me an estimate of $240 for all 4.

he wasnt 100% if they were released, he said that since they got pricing, they can probably order them soo...

maybe tokico is only releasing them to shops first?

The tokico's ride sooo sweet its unbelievable. I rode in my friends '99 GLE with Eibach's and Illumina's and highway driving was so smooth and at low speeds was firm but not harsh at all. Much better than my Koni yellows.

Are the Maxima Illumina's setup the same as those for Honda? I remember that on the Honda, on a flat road, the struts were a little soft/smooth. As soon as you hit a bump of any magnitude, they got really firm. Does that sound right?
