i just got a pair of the raybrig metal whites off ebay but the seller didn't mention the wattage...i get them in the mail and they are 110/100w rated at 175/135w...i'm guessing this is way too high to put in because it will either messup the harness or melt the housing...should i try to contact raybrig into trading me...i know the ebay seller won't return them so should i contact raybrig or should i take them to a local speed shop and say i bought them there and try to trade them in for a small fee...are the metal whites worth it? should i just sell these on ebay or should i save up and get hid's...i'd much rather do more performance oriented stuff before h.i.d.'s though...can i run these or will these burn the housings? i will try to go to a speedshop on wed. and check w/ them...i didn't notice they were rated this high until after i opened them and installed one...i noticed it got hotter quicker...they say they are rated at 3850k...please let me know if these are safe to run or if i just wasted my money

from what i read from the other sites and stuff, i'd stay away from higher wattage bulbs... don't want to risk burning out your housing. i just installed my Metal Whites and i love them. yeah, try perhaps at exchanging with either raceshop or raybrig.

if you want to see pics of my Metal Whites, check the post i just put up tonight.

Stick with 60/55 W bulbs....You run the risk of melting your wirin harness otherwise.
