Installed Custommaxima Straight Pipe an hour ago...

Easy install with the exception of getting those original bolts off!!! What a pain in the booteh. Otherwise, I had to try startin the car up after i got the original cat off... it was oh so LOUD. like really, really LOUD. not a surprise, but it was a good loud sound. Just waaaay too much. Anyways, after installing the straight pipe, there is no noticable gain in sound. Can't say anything for power, other than i had some traction issues deep into 1st gear (i'm an auto BTW). I dont normally break the tires loose rolling on the gas, but I did on my test run. Various other factors could have contributed of course. But if nothing else, the exhaust is a tad deeper, a little cleaner, and the pipe looks real nice sittin there if only I hadn't left my digital camera in my girl's car in CT... i'll take pics when i get a chance tho.

Are WooChoo (sp?) and myself the only ones with exhaust leaks from the CM straight pipe?

I've had my pipe on for more than 6 months now and it's still leak free.

I had some too originally, but I had the area around the pipe welded up to make sure I got no more leaks....

No exhaust leaks so far upon initial installation. If one developes, I'll post, but it seems to be a perfect fit. And no, there are no sensors beyond the y pipe, so no codes thrown. Exhaust smells a lil different tho

Mine isn't coming from the welds, it's coming from b/w the pipe and my Y & b...sh*tty gaskets I think...
