Any non-oiled aftermarket performance air filters?

Just about every post referencing MAF failures insinuates oiled filters are the culprit. Now, aside from user error, there exists in my mind the very slight possibility of the liquid being a culprit in the failures according to our wonderfully competent Nissan service techs. With this in mind, are there any dry aftermarket performance filters that are direct replacements for either the OEM filter or any of the filters that come with aftermarket intakes?

I belive the foam filters are oil-free.. forget who makes them tho. I"m sure someone will know here tho. Personally, I've had no issues at all using my K&N panel filter in my GAB... 24000 miles or so on it, no issues. Cleaned once about 3000 miles ago

I just replaced the filter that came with my Injen intake. I believe K&N makes it. It is an oiled filter. I was expecting to find some oil residue inside the intake tube, but there was none at all. I think many of the problems happen when people re-oil their filters and use too much.

I think mine with my PR CAI is a Monster. Looks cheezy, but it is in my fender well. The foam looks like it would filter pretty good and no oil. Cattman talked me into it and he gets most things right.
