I apolagize because I can't search, but I only found a TSB for the 00-01 models.
And the way my dealership is they wouldnt accept it.

I know there is excess noise coming from both rear windows.

Whats up man yea i looked under the 2002 and didn't see one..

 

It "should" apply to all 5th Gen Maximas, but I'm sure they won't update the TSB for the 2002-2003 (which still have the problem)...

 

Just go to the dealership, as long as you are under 3yrs/ 36K miles, they will find the problem and fix the problem. I've seen weatherstripping either loose and out of the groove from the factory, or its been kinked and needs to be replaced.

 

I used the 2000-2001 TSB when I had the TSB done on my '02 and I intend on doing it again when I get the '03. What I did was go to the dealer that did the repair work on my '94 GXE to do the TSBs and let the dealer I bought the '02 from do minor stuff (e.g. oil changes).

 

i did it on mine, the dealer did not give me any problems and fixed it for $346.89 so im happy the car is now much much quiter, hehe jk it was f r e e
