Where is the AIT sensor please help

Where is the AIT sensor please help

I am trying to locate the Air Intake Temp. Sensor on my 03 max. I took it to 3 shops (one was the dealer i bought it from) and no one can seem to find the sensor. any ideas???

on 2k2 & k3, the air temp sensor is built into the the maf (mass air flow sensor). on 2k & 2k1, it was a seperate sensor thats stock location was in front part of the air intake in the scoop.

Ok thanx, everyone seemed to be stumped. Any idea which wires would be linked to that sensor, I beleive there are btwn 5-7 wires that come out of the MAF.

i personally do not but i dont have a fsm for a 2k2. hopefully someone that has a fsm or that knows off hand will be able to pinpoint it for you.

According to the Nissan FSM, there should be a yellow with black stripe wire and a black wire from the IAT sensor to the ECM. However, when I looked under my hood, I only saw a yellow with green stripe wire in the harness.
