new ecu = poor fuel economy???

new ecu = poor fuel economy???
after 4 trips to the dealer for a ses light on they finally replaced the ecu. but now my fuel economy has dropped way off? can anyone answer why? 2k2 auto

what repair did they do for the ses light? did they tell you what the code was?
