intake and ECU reset

im just curious if ECU reset has any positive or negative effect on the max after an intake is installed, how many of u have done it, and what are your opinions?
and would you recommend it to others?

you SHOULD do it. can't hurt...might help!

there is a how-to in the FAQ section if you need to know the fancy "pedal pushing" routine.

i performed the good old disconnect the battery ECU reset. it did help, and after a couple days of relearning my car, the intake was giving me good gains.

however, IgS, the unplugging the battery to reset the ECU ONLY works on 2000-2001 models. 2002-2003 are drive by wire and require a pedal pushing combo to reset.
