Look at all the stolen HID's on ebay

Go to www.ebay.com and type in Maxima HID in the search. There are a ton of HID's on there from Maximas. There has to be a better way to secure these damn headlights. Is this a huge problem?

I just can't believe that there isn't some way to secure them so they cannot be taken as easily. And yes, I am a newbie, so I feel that I am immune to all the flames...and I ain't paying for the damn search function yet...

what is this about
"a pair of Nissan Maxima headlights that were purchased from the Nassau County Police in New York, Property Bureau at auction"
so if the cops find them they just sell them instead of trying to see who they belong to???

nassau county is soooo far in debt, they need to create cashflow, so by any means necessary---they hold police auctions....

most of the time, u get caught DWI or DUI, they take the whip and sell it NEXT DAY!

sometimes, if your lucky and they like u, or u strike a deal, they tell u where the auction is and u can bid on ur own car
