Well after the fierce storm here in NJ recently my ABS light went on intermitently. I would shut the car off then the light would go away. Finally the light stayed on and the car would make this loud groan as if the ABS was ingaging. Anyone have this problem? So I decided to bring my car in where I purchased an extended warranty and guess what. The dealer were I purchased the extended warranty from said (Toyota plan bought from Mitsubishi dealer by the way) that his computer would only work up to 2000 Maxes and that I needed to go to a Nissan Dealership to diagnose the ABS system. I arrive and told them I had this extended plan by Toyota (Continous Customer Care Gold) which I was told that everyone takes and guess what the dealer states that he will do the repairs but I had to pay first then I had to do all the leg work to get reimburst by the Toyota plan. Needless to say I was ****ed and called the Mitsubishi dealer to complain. At one point I had to brake hard and then the ABS light went away. I drove around abit and the light has not come back on. Strange but as long as I don't have to deal with Nissan Stealers. Lesson learned here. Although I got this plan for $800 bucks far cheaper than Nissan $1600, buyer beware. Anyone with these issues please post.
