Need your opinion

I'm in the process of purchasing a 02' 6-speed max. What are some things I should be looking for. I plan on getting intake, y-pipe, tein & agx's, and most likely the technosquare chip. Would this be a good combo? Is there anything else that i would need to change before installing these parts? Also i have a unorthodox UDP on my 97 max, will it fit on an 02? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I don't think your 97 UDP will fit 02.

Just make sure you get the 02 max checkout by a mechanic.

Get the 2003 because I've heard some people have problems (2k2) with a few things that work well on the 2k3. The MAF for example. 2003 handles an intake no prob but 2002 burns out sometimes.

I bought one of these and it had many issues.

MAKE SURE IT HAS NOT BEEN ABUSED.

If you know a mechanic, have him check the clutch.

Also, have the dealer check for any work such as MAF.

I love the car but the ricetard that had it before me was a world class a$$hole and I am paying for it.

If the car has 24K miles, wouldn't it still be covered under warranty if something does go wrong?

The car should be covered up to 36,000 miles, but that dont mean squat when it comes to Nissan...
Buying a y-pipe, Cattman is the way to go. If you have the cash get the HotShot headers that should be out by the first of the year for the 02 instead of the y-pipe.
Its hit and miss with the 02 Max, either you have a good one or one with a few bugs. Fortunately for me ive had 2 good ones so far.

Happy Modding!
