Anti-Roll Bar
Any rear anti-sway bar will make a dramatic improvement over the stock suspension.
Currently, the 5th generation Maxima has RSBs available from the following:
1) Cattman/Progress
2) Addco
3) Stillen
The Cattman/Progress bar is very similar in design to the Addco one. The Stillen bar is the most expensive and is of a different install design. All do the same job just was well.
I have the Cattman/Progress bar on my Maxima and couldn't imagine the car without it now. It's a relatively inexpensive mod, and if you are going to keep your car's suspension at stock or near-stock, I would recommend it.
Peace.

this is what my friend said to me when I asked him the same question. The RSB is more affective when the car is in stock mode, because when you lower the car, your ride will improve so much that the RSB wont affect it that much. I think its good to have it on. Just like the front strut bar... I had it on the second I bought my car.... no difference from stock IMO...
The RSB still greatly effects handling characteristics even when lowered. I took mine off during the drag racing season (weight reasons...even as slight as that), and I notice a difference with it removed. Don't get me wrong, my Tein/KYG-GR2 setup makes the car handle great, but the RSB makes it feel that much better. remember, the RSB is just a spring that compresses on a different plane...it still does its job regardless of whether or not the vehicle is lowered.
