Get em and let me see. I was gonna get these once my Piaas burn out. They're supposed to be better than Piaa Ion Crystals. . But who knows.

Yea I heard of them, supposedly they are very good quality bulbs. If you know where to buy them can you please tell me, I really want a quality, bright, yellow bulb for my fogs (just like the is300, those lights are sexy). Thanks

Did a quick search. THIS SITE has several different yellow/gold bulbs. The Narva Gold, Phillips Rally Gold, and Candlepower Gold.

What's the wattage of our stock bulbs?

55w is stock.. supposedly the wiring holds up alright under higher wattage but it will create more heat inside the lense and therefore increase chances of cracking. Those are supposedly good bulbs, I think there is a thread right now in the 4th gen forum that has a picture of them (on a 4th gen obviously).

$12/each for 55W....

is there a difference in brightness or color between the 55W and 85W??? i want a pretty strong yellow... so is 55W enough? 85W seems a bit too high....i dont want them to blow or anything...

i thought so too, but.......it's 55w. i checked both FSM and the box that my OEM bulbs came in....and it's 55w.

and i've had narva's on my car for about 3 months now....the 85's gave me zero problems. the only reason it blew was cause a rock popped the glass, which in turn popped the bulb. rather than order a new bulb, i went back to my old method, the yellow film.

i've had both methods...my answer...they're both the same, produce the same yellowish color. all pics of them are on my site.

polo: so u would recommend the bulbs?... do the pictures do the lights justice?... because in ur pics, the fogs don't look all that yellow..... i'm sure it's pretty hard to replicate the lexus yellow fogs.. but i dont want my fogs to look dull... need a strong color... will the 55W narva golds work?

According to this website's FAQ, Narva is owned by Phillips.

If the yellow film gives you the same yellow, it seems that would make more sense. It would help protect the glass a little bit. Also, when you have to replace your bulbs, regular bulbs are much cheaper than Narva Golds or PIAA Crystal Ions...

this is why i went with the film....easier to get OEM's....hell, i would consider the film with silverstars to see what that produces...prolly some pretty impressive light output...

depends on the bulb then. i had lamin-x film with 85w narva bulbs and it showed burn marks. i put the OEM's back on with lamin-x and it's been clean ever since. i guess as sad as it is to say, the oem's, which are the weakest for 55w levels, is apparently good enough for the lamin-x film.
