Air Intake

This has probably been asked a thousand times but I'm looking at a new intake systemfor my 03 SE and i was wondering which one was the best bang for the buck and wanted everybodies current opinions. I kind of wanted to do a RAM AIR system but only found one that might work and it was a universal (Weapon R). Could really use some info from you guys that have them
Thanks

I think an Injen can have such an effect, since the Injen snakes down below the radiator and has airflow from the front of the car...
Frankencar is also popular, but it's more of a Warm Air Intake that sits inside the engine bay and breathes hot air

So does the Injen, it pulls air from under the hood. Granted, it sits lower than the Frankencar but it's also right behind the extremely hot radiator. The only intake that can truly be called a CAI is Place Racing and it requires a hole to be drilled in the fender wall.

s_hinerman...I would go with the Frankencar over the Weapon-R. You can rig up a scoop in the front of the car that would flow cooler air to the area that the cone filter will be sitting. Just my $.02.

Yeah, I think the Injen is pretty good. Looks great under the hood and sounds great too. But, I think it contributes to pinging...at least in my Max it does.

Make one yourself. Check my homepage for a few pics of my setup - OSCAI/Ram air with K&N panel filter. Works wonderfully!
