2000 headlights

Hey guyz, was wondering if you could help me pick a new pair of headlights (Bulbs)....I don't wana go all out and get real xenonsr but I'm going for the bluish/whitish look and obviously something thats bright....I heard that the sylvania's are good....BTW, i have a 2k, so i was wondering what specs shoudl I be looking out for when getting a pair of lights (H4, 9004)?!?!? Is this the right type? I'm currently using stock harnesses.

Also, if you could what do you guys think of these lights, will they work on my stock max??? Any feedback would be appreciated

5th gens use the H4 if I remember correctly. I didn't care for the silverstars much either. Just remember. The higher the color temp, the less light you will project on the road unless you increase the wattage of the bulb. I had 4200K Silverstars that used stock wattage and I didn't really like em much. I switched to a 6000K temp high wattage bulb, and upgraded my wiring harness, and the light out put is much better. It something you really have to think about.

I currently have a set of Sylvania Silverstar on my 2k1 max, and I like it better than the cool blue that was on previously the part # is 9003ST.

Cheers

yup, Sylvania SilverStar here. That's H4, aka 9003 (Sylvania part# 9003ST)

Foglights are H3, FYI...

I use the Eurodezign Super Plasmas too but I don't know what the problem with these bulbs are. I've have gone through 2 H4s and 2 H3s in that few months. They just burn out! Granted you get new ones for free w/ warrenty but its a pain to keep switching them out.

I have the Eurolites in my headlights and fogs. They are hella-bright. People seem to high beam me (flash me) letting me know to turn off my high beams even though I don't have them on!

What you pay is what you get.

I've had numerous pairs of 'bargain' headlight bulbs cuz i really didn't care and want to pay for expensive ones...but they all blew within 2-3 months after i've had them.

Get either PIAAs or Raybrigs and keep'em longer. they're more expensive, it evens out because you won't have to buy so many replacement ones later on.

2000-2001s use H4s.

If you like blue-ish lights, get either PIAA Plasmas or Raybrig HID 4700K.
If you like white lights, get PIAA Extreme White.

Hope that helps.
