Brand New HIDs on Ebay

Saw this on ebay if anyone needs HID's. I know some people dont want stolen HID's here are "new" ones. At least whoever is selling them says they are new.

Reasonable selling price, right out of the box, tabs intact...I'd buy them without feeling guilty that they might be stolen.

Yeah them seem to be legit but I wouldn't buy from him just because he only has 1 positive feedback in his rating. Your bound to get raped on that one.

Looks like he sold one HID last month. I'm wondering if he works for a dealer or what.

insurance claim, owner went with 00 lights, dealership gets to keep insurance purchased headlights... unless that's what they actually cost and the rest is mark up. wouldn't be surprised.

yeah, maybe he broke a headlight on his car and replaced it with the one he bought, and now hes selling....but then again didnt he say they were brand new? Or maybe he got his hands on a new headlight and bought the other one to probably make more money on sellng the pair.

It's just the kind of thing that makes people suspicious IMHO. We as Maxima owners are pretty leery about HIDs being sold on EBay for a reason. I have not been victimized yet but it could happen any day. Not that the man owes us an explanation for why he sells HIDs.

Selling a pair, but I only see one in the picture - the same one he bought earlier. Why not show the other one? Cuz the other one is stolen (remember the thread earlier about several maximas with only one headlight stolen?). So the fact that he is selling a pair and has a pic of a brand new one makes him appear legit. Look how fast you all said "he's legit I'd buy from him" but you only see one headlight in the picture. That's like rule number 1 on eBay: don't buy something if there is no picture of it. Rule number 2: don't buy something from some guy with 1 feedback.

He could still be legit, but too shady to get my bid...

These have Modded turn signals...

Take a look at these.... It looks like they were mounted on a 2000 - 2001 Maxima.

actually FYI in the marketing brochure for the 02 maxima, the "camera lens style" was what was being projected as a major difference between the 00/01's and the 02/03's

It's what Nissan calls it in the 2002 (possibly 2003) Maxima brochure.
