Hmmm.........because your car is black, it turned out pretty good. I'm not so sure it would look good on the lighter colored cars tho.

I like it. Still, after seeing the grill without the hamburger, I think that's the way to go.

 

It looks okay on that car. It wouldn't work for me though.

 

Ammi - I removed the grille, there are 3 tabs that need to be released. I couldn't get all 3 with the grille installed

i like how it looks in the close up picture. but in the pulled-back picture it just looks black; like its the same color as the grill.

I took them off today. They were getting rusty...see my post in the General Forum. As others have said...Grille-Tech s*cks.

 

It's growing on me, especially with a dark car. Yeah, it looks good- I just hope it doesn't chip.

 

Getting rusty again? Didn't you paint them too?

I just got done brushing off the rust, applied 1 coat of primer, 3 coats of metallic gunmetal, and 4 coats of clearcoat so hopefully it doesn't rust again?

 

I'm resigned to the fact that it most likely wil chip. I'll just have to repaint it every couple years, that's all.

Yeah, I primed and painted them last spring, but they rusted again this winter.

I don't like Grille-Tech anymore.
