I really appreciate HIDs when I have to drive my minivan; even with its superwhites, there's no comparison.
I'm sooo in the minority on the HIDs. I have 2 cars, the other is a Talon TSi. I drive the Talon 3 days per week, and my '03 SE 2 days+weekends. I don't notice it all and I live in the boonies. If anything, I like the halogens better because those reach further out front. From what I understand, HIDs have to be focused really low and that shortens the light in front to avoid blinding others.

What about when they are on and warmed up and you turn them off for about 30-45 seconds and then turn them back on, they come on like a fire red color for about a second and then back to white. I love that...
Yeah, the HIDs on the 2k2-2k3 Max are great and I love the power. My Z's HIDs to me to don't seem to work as well though. Even though the Z is quicker, it feels like it's working harder cuz there's so much more vibration and engine noise.
