My fog lights just stopped working....checked all the fuses and they are fine....could the relay be bad??? i changed the bulbs and everything...still nothing....someone give me a hand in this.

Nothing to do but pull the lights, check the bulbs, check that power is getting to them (voltmeter in the connecter. If that's OK, voltmeter at the socket.

It might be worthwhile to have someone turn them on while you listen next to the relay. If the relay clicks, you have ruled out a failure of the switch.

On my car(2002), there are two pieces that turn on the light control/turn signal indicator. One is the fog and one is regular lights. Not sure if the 2001 assembly is the same, but, make sure to check the obvious first that you haven't accidentally turned them off. Hope that's all it is.

I have a 2001 maxima gle came with no fog lights.I bought the fog lights new and found that it didnt have a relay either so bought that to.The wiring seemed to be in place to just be a plug and play install but it wasnt.Everything is installed but lights will not come on.i have tried everything to and im stumped

whoa noob nice thread high jack.

check all fuses, check all relays, check all wiring, switches bulbs etc. if you dont find anything check again.

listen to skydaver thats good advice. also check the wiring to make sure you dont have any shorts anywhere.

I have an GXE which was with out fogs. OP as others have said check your bulbs, fuses, sockets and relay.. My parking light switch acts as my fog switch as I don't have a switch on my turn signal stalk. Let us know how you make out trouble shooting your fog problem. Good Luck

OP, this is going to sound stupid but check to make sure your high-beams are not on. Good luck

Don't forget there are fuses under the hood and inside the car that both relate to the fogs.
