2000 Se Hid Help

I bought a 2000 SE in November. I love the car, but I want new headlights. I'm not going to spend the kind of money Nissan wants for them, and I'm not going to steal any. A buddy of mine works at a Ford dealership and he told me a 2003 Maxima just came in. I guess the car is a total loss. So he talked to his boss and asked if we can take the headlights. Will 2003 headlights work in a 2000?? If so what do I need( wireharness etc etc..)

Any help is good help thanks
Ryan

Probably because he's in Utah....do they have Nissan dealers there?

...and this thing is totaled yet the HIDs are intact? Lucky break.

Must have been rear ended by a big truck or something.

Apparently I'm not the only one less than eager to help a newbie with HID replacement questions. Shocker.

If it was on any other topic...

....so are you just a good person or are you afraid God will smite you down if you steal HIDs from one of the mormons?

Anyhow, if it's truly legit I'm not gonna get on you for getting HIDs...hell, I'd like them but cannot justify spending a grand to get them....and obviously am not interested in stealing ANYTHING! That said, you would have to get wiring harnesses, etc....from what I've read around here.

So...how many wives do you have? j/j

They arent HIDS but the PIAA Xtream whites are a good choice. Thats what i have and i like em. They arent ricey blue, but a nice white with a hint of blue.

AFTERMARKET HID's

I have a set of HID's for your 2k maxima. Just swapped out to stock HID"s and I have no need for my aftermarket kit. They are made by SPW Industries, 7,500k, part #SPW70.10.54, Hella Ballasts and Phillips bulbs. They even have a functional high beam. It is a deflector that when activated allows the light to reflect off the bottom of the lamp projecting the beam upward. Looking to get $275.00 shipped. pm me
