sticky clutch problem

I have 2k2 SE 6spd and I've got this problem recently that the clutch pedal get stuck in the pressed down position. Sometimes there is a little bit of move that let me shift gears, sometimes there is none at all. I took it to the dealer and they claimed that master cylinder was damged and replaced it. I got it back, drove one day without a problem and had the same sticky problem the nexy day. I am taking it back to the dealer, but I was wondering whether anybody else had the same problem?
I also have a suspision that my problem is connected to the cold weather. Although, 20 degress outside should not be a problem for a car. I never had any problems with my previous 92 maxima and that one wasn't even kept in a garage.

even in the clodest of cold, the pedal will come up slow but it shouldn't stick.

My first reaction is MC. If that wen't you'll see wetness on the inside of the firewall, right where the clutch goes through the firewall.

Sounds like air is still getting into the lines, so it might be the slave cylinder or other leak within the lines somewhere.

If air is in the lines, you'll also have a problem getting the clutch to disengage with a lot of travel up top. You would need to literally pump the pedal to get pressure built up enough to disengage the clutch.

You were right. Turned out they did a sloppy job the first time replacing MC and there was some air left in the system. Now it seemed to be back to normal. I am still puzzled though that MC went bad in 17k...
