I was interested in Tokico Illuminas for my 2002 Maxima SE, but the Tokico product catalog shows compatibility with Maximas from 4/99 to 2001, then from 2004+ but it skips 2002 and 2003. I contacted Tokico and they gave me this response (with their spelling mistakes): "Our listing only goes up to 2001 there is some different between the brakeline bracket on the 2002-2003. Even though the shocks are same just he brakeline bracket and ABS bracket is different." Can anyone comment on that? Seems like quite a few other people have used this combination yet even the Tokico factory says they don't fit.

 

Thats a good question that I honestly can not answer. However, if what Tokico says is true about everything except the brakeline/abs bracket being the same then it seems some zip ties, mechanics wire and shade tree mechanics would make them compatible with the 5.5 gen.

 

Nice thread even though hella old but I got the HP Blues from Tokicos cant COMPLAIN...

 

i have them on my car(2002 SE), no problem with brake lines. part number for fronts are, BB3188 and BB3189. Rears are BU2493(x2).
