Darn, Adventon finally raised their prices. Injen marked up their prices back in November(?) I think. Whenever it was, it was a while ago. Retailers are required to follow suit.

Call the retailers up, they may be able to give you a better deal offline. Websites are considered advertising so retailers have to follow manufacturer guidelines about how low they can advertise the prices.

But the thing is, Injen's aren't really true CAI's, or so members here say, so in reality, they're just "sucking" up hot air??

No really tho, $300 bucks for an intake's alot! You definetly got the better price deal.

Dude, relax, if I wasn't interested, I wouldn't have made this post. And besides, I doubt I'd be able to get a deal as low as it was before in price.

i like my injen. and wether it gets cold air or not. all intakes are are sound and looks. +/-5 hp. not alot of performance. why did i get the injen? sound, look, performace, in that order. because thats all intakes are. if cone intakes were really so great why don't fast stock cars use them(vetts, lambos, etc?) because all it is is added sound for such little hp gained.

how is what I said off topic? It's more like you didn't read the whole thing because if you had, you'd know it's $212 shipped, NOT $288

2k2, if you are definetly, positively, and ABSOLUTELY sure you know we can get it for $212 shipped, that's fine, but most of us are going based on what SWA's (and other's) prices are on their sites.

How bout alil wager? Would you be willing to put your org membership up on the line for this?

Moderators? how bout it? I know I have nothing to lose other than being a member here, but I can come out with an injen for $212 shipped!

Injen's pricing did go up across the board. We used to do the intake for $212 shipped, but since Injens price raise we can do it for $225 shipped. To get it for that price you must give us a call. No need to wager your member accounts here fellas.

Finally, a representative who can shed some light!

Steve, anyway a group deal might drop the price down a bit more? I had a feeling you guy's couldn't do it for $212 shipped with the price spike, but I wanted to see if 2k2 would put his membership where his mouth is!

2k2, no hard feelings.

We're always open to group deals, so I wouldn't see why not. We may be able to do within a week or two if there is enough interest.

no, nobody is definitely, positively and absolutely sure of anything...I go by what I read here..

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....injen+adventon

I busted his ***** for a while then apologized when I found out his prices were different if you called. And so that's what I recommended you do, CALL (but I guess now we know since he posted here). And that's also why I said (quote) "and if that's changed please let us know" ... it gets old when people around here guess rather than find out the truth.

what does this even mean?

Yeah, I remember that thread, but I had intentions on him posting to inform anyone else, which he did, minus busting his ***** about it.

If you're gonna make a claim about a price of a company's products being sold for less, ESPECIALLY WHEN the market value of them has gone up, and not even represent the company or retailer, then I'm willing to bet and wager your word against theirs! Your org membership or stay vs mine: Its my way of busting your ***** had this bet gone thru.

But like I said, no hard feelings.

that's why I said to call and see, and also why I said if it's not the case any more to let us know. He posted $212...if it changed because of the market (or for whatever reason) then the only way we'll find out is if someone calls. I already got mine so it's not going to be me calling.
you busted our ***** which really isn't called for.
how did I bust your *****? I said "that was the price, now call and find out if it's still the price." You are making no sense.
Your org membership or stay vs mine:
this still makes no sense...

---

So to keep 2k3TitaniumSe from getting a knot in his shorts I'll get back to the topic...

Now an injen is $225 shipped. If $13 is a big deal then people shouldn't be modding their cars. Buy it for that and you'll be happy with it for a long time.

2k2, i swear, you remind me of this one database administrator/unix guy i work with! He has to have the last word and explains things down to the bone, no matter what!

I'm not gonna bother explaining and "re-quoting" thing's I've already made clear. We got our current price the way I wanted to find out and that's that.

If you wanna bring up anything else, drop me a pm.

peace
