HID notice

Can anyone give me the notice of recall that Nissan has issued to the people in the Northeast.

I threw mine out, but you would have received one if it applied to you. They won't do the TSB for free unless you got that letter.

Reason I am asking is that at the dealership here in Canada the parts guys said "Never heard about the Maxima's getting their HID's stolen". I asked them to order the brackets and gave them the part number. The part number is not valid here. The asked me to get a copy of the recall notice to send to Nissan Canada to find out about the parts.

Gotcha. Well like I said I'm pretty sure I threw my letter out. It was very short and didn't mention any part numbers or anything like that. It just explained the problem and said to go to your Nissan dealership for free service. I have all the paperwork that I received after the work was done, I can scan that for you if it would be of any help.

Completely off-topic...but what kind of parts guy that works for Nissan has never heard of HIDs being stolen in 5th gen Maximas? I know you're in Canada...but don't they bother to keep up with current trends or anything like that? I mean it's been happening up and down the east coast since the 5th gens came out!
