intake related question

My neighbor was telling me about well he didn't call it a CAI but it's basically how he described it only he said something about putting a fan that spins the air at the bottom of the pipe to mix up the air. It souned to me like he just finished watching the tornado air infomercial and thought he came up with an awesome idea but I figured id ask if anyone else has done this with the fan in the CAI pipe.

I think an engine sucks in plenty of air
no need for a fan, and that tornado thing is more or less a gimmick.

I took the coils out of my dorm fridge and wrapped them around the intake... FAI (freezer air intake)

tell him to duct-tape one of those little battery-powered electric fans to the front of his intake, to give the air extra "thrust"....

little electric fan adds at least 20whp

better yet, tell him to talk into the filter, and he will have a hot-air intake!
