It can be done, but i think you need to get a differnet computer...

You can but you have to change everything: computer... the wiring, the tranny... fly by wire vs throttle... I would buy a 2k2 and swap out bumpers and paint the clear tail light housing black like the anniversary edition... but thats me.

The guy who did do it though said it took a whole month. I cant remember who though but he said everything ran fine.

i think the reason he may want to consider this is cause his boy totalled his 2k3, and they've been parting out the car. he has his 2k1 and he's about to get his hands on a probably VERY VERY cheap 2k3 motor. in other words, one of those "can't pass this up" deals. anything he needs, i'm sure his boy would give him. he has access to the full tranny, motor, ecu, etc....

i say go for it lloyd. if you get, that's gangsta.

If that's true, I'd get a 4G Maxima and THEN do this swap. Imagine how sick a 4G Maxima with a VQ35DE/6MT would be.

that would be a pretty fast maxima but there would eb so many problems. exhaust manifold, headers, intake manifold. that just seems like an awful lot of work to me.
