lower valence grille for 2k maxima?

Interested in getting a lower valence grille for my 2k max. My max is black and I want a black grill insert. I've done searches and gotten some info from other .org forums, but looking for the latest info (any new ones available, etc...) I like the look of the JMS one, but I guess its only available for 2k-3 max, and looks like alot of rust problems with grill-tec.

Suggestions and pics would be much appreciated...

KPAZZO has a lower grill insert by Street Scene. it's really nice but Polished. Maybe you can paint it gloss black?

I have this:

This is how it looks on my '00 SE:

It was subtle enough for me to like it. Hasn't rusted, it clips in really easy, just have to take the splash guards off really easy to put it on.

I have JMS currently, but really like the looks of the SS grilles. If they made them for the '02-03, thats the set that I would have gotten.

i have had the grill-tech for about 9 months now and no problems so far or discoloration without any preventive maintenance.

instead of paying so much for the valence, can't you just use that wire mesh stuff from home depot?

i still dont like the valences in general. lowers are decent, but the upper ones just dont appeal that much. and ya, you could just make your own with wire mesh from home depot
