does anyone know if weapon-r makes quality products? i'm looking into buying their coil over system. the new dual spring coil overs. the application is for 95-99 maxima's but i was wondering if it would fit on the 5th gen max.. if so i'm definately going to give them a try.. and how would they compare with ground controls?? i'm still undecided as for which struts i want to use because the choices are very limited at the moment. information is greatly apreciated. thank you
-daniel.

hahaha all good. i'm made in taiwan too, maybe that's why i'm not well built.. hahah besides that i don't really mind if something is manufactured in taiwan since there is already a vast quantity of products we use and don't really have problems with that are also MIT.

hahah all good i dont' mind. thanx for your input. i may be wrong however i'll still say this.. the coil over's i'm looking at is just a sleeve type of coil over. they are not threaded shock bodies there for are not really bolt on's so no bolts need to match up, just gotta see if the diameter of the fifth gen shock is the same as the 4th.. i've been told that the 5th gen maxima can also utilize the same coil over sleeves from ground control as the 4th gen maximas. i guess all that would be different is theoretically the spring rates.. i plan to go a tad bit over 300 for the spring rates.. please visit the site www.weapon-r.com.. i've never had a great impression on weapon-r but then again i'm not at all familiar with that brand to begin with.

Theoretically, the dual spring setup is better than a single one. That little one is called a "tender spring". What can hppen with a single spring is, when you set it really really low, and then the suspension extends fully, say over a bump or jacking it up, the spring can come unseated and rattle. The tender spring keeps a little pressure on the main spring at full suspension droop to keep it in place.
