Ebrake Help! Please!

Ebrake Help! Please!

Does anyone have the instructions or know how to remove the ebrake handle on a 2k2 se just basically the top half i purchased a new handle and boot and if anyone could help i would appreciate it.

just heat it up slowly with a hair dryer and keep pulling on it till it comes off

Funny, I just finished installing an after market E-brake. Man Definately used the hair dryer. I had to do it in my apartment parking lot and just used a screw driver and and alot of muscle. Whew!

I just used the flat head screw driver and stuck it in the seam between the handle and the boot and twisted slowly. Once it starts comming apart and you can see the actual clips just grab the handle and pull like a ****!
