Chains or Cables for Snow?
Do you recommend chains or cables for driving in the snow. I live in SoCal so don't drive in snow enough for snow tires, but we take a trip up to Mammoth about once a month. Also, recommend any online places to get good deals? Thanks!!!

I used Z-chains, they are basically cables. Much better than chains.
They are sold everywhere up here in the NW, good luck finding them in SoCal. Do not use them with good rims though, they do have a tendency to put scuff marks on the lip.
